SO ROYAL

(Kahir Almaydan – Diamond Blade)

A stakes-placed winner of seven, who won from 1600m to 1800m, So Royal has proven to be an excellent producer.

To date, she is the dam of eight winners, with So Royal featuring as either the dam or granddam of five black type horses.

So Royal is the dam of four stakes winners, sired by four different stallions, namely G3 Champagne Stakes/G3 Prix Du Cap winner Priceless Jewel, G3 Cape Summer Stayers hero Royal Badge, Listed Stormsvlei Mile victress Crystal Cavern and Listed Lady’s Pendant winner Royal Extravagance.

From the immediate family of Canadian classic winner Amber Herod, So Royal is currently in foal to triple G1 winner, and Equus Champion, Soqrat.

ROCKABERRY LANE

(Western Winter – Strawberry Lane)

Herself a three time winning own sister to the G1 winners Redberry Lane (Garden Province Stakes) and Solo Traveller (Cape Guineas) as well as to the dam of last season’s Equus Champion Good Traveller, the regally bred Rockaberry Lane is fast making a name for herself a stud.

To date, the mare has produced three runners, all of which have won, and they include the smart Intrepid Traveller and Sashay Away -who contested the G2 Prosport International Debutante last season.

A daughter of former Broodmare Of The Year Strawberry Lane, Rockaberry Lane is in foal to Irish classic winner Canford Cliffs.

NOOR DUBAI

(Archipenko – Dubai Moonlight)

From one of the best families in the stud book, the winning Noor Dubai made a splash on the turf last season through the deeds of her son Nebraas. The latter was crowned Equus Champion Stayer following a season which saw Nebraas captured both the G3 Marshalls World Of Sport Gold Cup and G3 DStv Gold Vase.

Out of a half-sister to G1 Thekwini Fillies Stakes winner Amanee, Noor Dubai’s third dam is none other than the legendary racemare and broodmare Miesque.

Noor Dubai is in foal to five-time G1 winner Duke Of Marmalade, whose dam was sired by Miesque’s star son Kingmambo.

NATURAL BEAUTY

(Judpot – So Royal)

A granddaughter of A.P. Indy, Natural Beauty has made an immediate impact at stud.

From just three runners, she has produced the stakes placed So Flawless, as well as the very promising Imbewu. The latter made a smart winning debut before finishing fifth, on her only other start, in the G2 Zulu Kingdom Explorer Golden Slipper.

The well-bred Natural Beauty, a half-sister to four stakes winners notably the graded stakes winners Priceless Jewel and Royal Badge, foaled filly by Equus Champion 2YO Soqrat this season.
